The Tomaree Business Chamber is a not for profit organisation representing the business community of Nelson Bay and the Tomaree Peninsula in Port Stephens.
Our mission is to assist new, growing and established businesses within the area, helping them stay abreast of news and events throughout the peninsula.
We do this in several ways. In addition to holding meetings throughout the year for members to network and contribute their ideas, we also organise large events designed to enrich the local community and attract visitors. Our organisation currently runs two of the largest festivals on the peninsula: The Blue Water Country & Blues Music Festival and Tastes at the Bay.
The Tomaree Business Chamber organises regular meetings to keep members up to date.
In an effort to cater for members, we hold both twilight networking meetings and breakfast meetings.
In addition to our standard meetings, we plan special events throughout the year.
As a not for profit organisation, we strive to create fun and beneficial functions that grow local businesses and enhance the community as a whole.
On a fundamental level, our organisation attempts to connect people within the community. Thanks to an ever-expanding series of events, meetings and workshops, out board is able to achieve this goal.
We carefully develop events that foster networking opportunities, encourage business growth, support professional development and drive the production of local businesses. Our events vary and are created to suit the needs of community stakeholders. These entities include both member and non-member businesses, young professionals, industry experts, strategic partners, community backers and government leaders.
